    The Luverne Cardinals volleyball team finished 4-2 this past week, taking on six solid squads along the way. LHS won 2-1 against the Blue Earth Area Buccaneers Tuesday, Sept. 30, at home.     The Cardinals girls’ tennis team fell 4-3 to Lac Qui Parle Valley Monday, Oct. 6, in a team sectional playoff game, crushing their hopes of extended team postseason play.     The Luverne cross country team hosted an eight team meet Thursday, Oct. 2, at the Luverne High School course west of the school.     Micky Sehr recorded his second career hole-in-one Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the Luverne Country Club. Both holes-in-one were dropped in on Hole 7 at LCC.
