Sheriff's Office to replace handguns, trade-in would reduce cost

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office will purchase 16 new handguns after receiving approval from county commissioners during their April 7 meeting. 

Sheriff Sorenson said the request is part of his effort to standardize the firearms issued to deputies. 

Patriots place third in boys’ and girls’ golf invitational

H-BC boys’ and girls’ golf teams both finished in third place at the Farmers Golf and Health Club in Sanborn, Minnesota, Thursday, April 9.

The boys finished in third place with a team score of 210 in the 9-hole, par 36 meet.
