H-BC boys’ and girls’ golf teams both finished in third place at the Farmers Golf and Health Club in Sanborn, Minnesota, Thursday, April 9.

The boys finished in third place with a team score of 210 in the 9-hole, par 36 meet.

 Following Luverne Superintendent Craig Oftedahls’ retirement announcement, the school board plans to retain Oftedahl in the role following his official retirement. 

The number of expansions and new permits for feedlots in Rock County is remaining steady, though the numbers still haven’t recovered to pre-pandemic levels. 

The Rock County Historical Society last week announced the induction of six new members to the Rock County Hall of Fame.
