Sharon was born on January 2, 1937, in Avoca, Minnesota, to Carl and Julia Hagen. She grew up in the Avoca area and graduated from Slayton High School in 1955.

Easter Bunny visits Hardwick

The Easter Bunny made an appearance in the Hardwick community Saturday morning when roughly 60 children and their families enjoyed an Easter egg hunt along with prize drawings, Easter cookies and juice boxes.
