    The Luverne High School track and field team opened its 2024 season traveling to Brookings to compete in the Ruth Marske Invitational Saturday, March 23, at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.     The Luverne boys’ basketball team finished its 2023-24 season Thursday, March 7, falling 93-66 to Redwood Valley in the Section 3AA quarterfinals in Windom.     The Luverne boys’ hockey season came to a heartbreaking end Saturday, Feb. 24, in St. Peter. The Cardinals fell to Marshall 3-2 in a physical Section 3A semifinal game.
