    Members of the 2005 boys’ basketball team were recognized Friday, Jan. 24, at home, in celebration of their appearance in the 2005 state basketball tournament. LHS completed their 21-9 season by defeating Rockford 60-55 in the third-place game of the state tournament March, 19, 2005, at Concordia University in St, Paul.

    The Luverne girls’ hockey team beat their conference rivals, the New Ulm Eagles, 4-2 on the road Thursday, Jan. 23.
