The Luverne Cardinals football team fell 31-12 to Waseca in the Section 3AAA Championship Friday, Oct. 31, in New Ulm.
LHS, the No. 3 seed, took on Waseca, the No. 1 seed, on a cool and drizzly night to end its 2025 season run.
Waseca amassed 370 total yards against Luverne and passed for 322 yards while being held to only 48 yards on the ground by a strong LHS defense.
