Eight teams participated in the Cardinal Relays Tuesday, April 8, in Luverne.
Both LHS and H-BC had strong performances at the meet in cool, windy conditions.

LHS beat Blue Earth 15-5 and 20-2 at home Friday, April 11, but fell 4-3 to Esko Saturday, April 12, and lost 14-3 to Fairmont Monday, April 14.

The Luverne baseball team opened their 2025 season beating Pipestone 9-1 and Worthington 12-2 Thursday, April 3, at the Sanford Sports Complex in Sioux Falls.
Bakken, Bosch selected for all-conference
Two H-BC seniors, Beau Bakken and Sawyer Bosch, received Red Rock Conference all-conference honorable mention recognition.
