Holy cow, you guys, the library is busy this month.

Tim Palank, age 45, of Claymont, Delaware, formerly of Luverne, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Christopher Wentzlaff, age 41, of Edina, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, in San Francisco, California. A service to celebrate Christopher’s life was at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Nov.

Evelyn Mae Titus Boone, formerly from Luverne, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Oct. 28, 2025, at her home in Rochester, Minnesota, at the age of 100.

Mary Ann Van Aartsen was born on June 27, 1939, to Oltman “Ole” and Caroline “Ann” (Richters) Akkerman on a farm northeast of Rock Rapids, Iowa. She was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church in town.

Taylor Mulder, age 34, of Luverne, Minnesota, passed away surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with leukemia on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025.

Jonna Dull, age 86, of Hardwick, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at the Mary Jane Brown Good Samaritan Home in Luverne.

Nine “trunks” lined Summit Avenue in Hardwick Friday night for the first Hardwick Fire Department “Trunk ’n Treat” event that was successfully conducted between rain showers in temperatures that reached at best into the upper 30s.
