Stacy Gillette started her career in education 37 years ago. She officially retired on June 30 from her role as Luverne Elementary principal. Responding to budget cuts, the district is transitioning to two principals, iwth former middle school principal Jason Phelps taking over as elementary principal. He and Luverne High School Principal Ryan Johnson will share middle school principal duties together.
