Health Educator: Plan and implement the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) deliverables and promote an understanding of policy, systems, and environmental change that will improve the public’s health and quality of life.  Promote healthy lifestyles, close the gap of health inequity, and prevent disease with a variety of target groups. This includes community assessing, organizing, planning, and educating the community to make recommended changes, and evaluation of specific community-driven change that affects health behaviors. Public Health Specialist: The Public Health Specialist serves as the public health expert for environmental health and public health preparedness. The Public Health Specialist will work to ensure that the local public health agency is prepared for public health emergencies by responding to infectious and or environmental incidents that affect the residents of Nobles County, and will assist the Community Health Service Administrator in the assessment, evaluation, planning, implementation and coordination of current and new programming. Dietitian: Provides nutrition education and health assessments through our Women, Infants, and Children’s Nutrition Program (WIC). Primary responsibilities include assessing nutritional risks, screening for program eligibility, and providing nutrition education to children and families. Registered Nurse (RN): Provides professional nursing services within the public health department, schools, and in the community that address disease prevention and control, screening clinics, and on-going nursing services as outlined in the Minnesota Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act. •Weekends and Holidays off!

Family of Phyllis Mohr

The family of Phyllis Mohr would like to thank everyone who provided care to our mom during her final time here on earth. To Dr. Kennedy and her team of nurses, we thank you for your constant presence and vigilance in providing solutions, and eventually comfort. To the staff at Mary Jane Brown Home, not only did you provide excellent care but you truly made her feel loved. To Pastor Dorie Hall, thank you for all your visits, you were the bright spot in our mom’s day. And finally to Jeff, Lexie, and the entire Hartquist team. You are second to none at walking families through the final steps in caring for their loved ones.  We appreciate your knowledge, kindness, grace, and dignity.
