    The Luverne Junior Legion baseball team won two more games this week, defeating Minneota 10-0 and Fairmont 13-1. Luverne, now 13-2 on the season, was scheduled to complete the regular season in Edgerton Tuesday, July 16.     The ninth annual Davis Lake Triathlon once again kicked off the Fourth of July activities at The Lake Thursday. The triathlon has two divisions, the Minnows and the Sharks. The Minnows race is a quarter mile kayak, two-mile bike ride and one-mile run. The Sharks race is a half mile kayak, eight-mile bike ride and 2-1/2-mile run.     The Luverne Sr. Legion baseball team had a busy schedule this past week, finishing 2-3-1. Luverne beat Minneota 9-6 on Tuesday, July 2, at home. They fell to Rosetown 12-1 and to Omaha 14-6 Friday, July 5, in the New Ulm tournament. In the second day of the tournament Saturday, July 6, the Sr. Legion lost to Mankato 6-0 and tied New Ulm 5-5.     The Luverne Redbirds played just one game last week, taking the Jackson Bulls 4-1 at Redbird Field Sunday, July 7.     The weather proved to be a challenge for the Senior Legion games this week. The Luverne-Edgerton game consisted of just one inning before the rain fell.
