Celebration of life

School’s out and summer is here! It’s the library’s busiest season with our Summer Reading Program!

We have two reading programs — one for kids and one for adults.

The theme for this year’s program is “Plant a Seed, Read!”

Seniors in Luverne and Hills-Beaver Creek celebrated graduation last weekend, marking the start of a new chapter for the Class of 2026. Luverne held its graduation ceremony on Sunday, May 24, with 94 students receiving their diplomas.

I have been thinking about the word “rest” for a couple months now as I have been preparing for a season of rest. The leadership and members of Living Rock Church have gifted me a sabbatical this summer.
