A new street appears Monday as the city of Hardwick begins a project that adds about nine acres to the city limits. Chad VerSteeg Excavating of Luverne began work Friday to remove the overgrown trees and vegetation on construction of a street in the new Scott Addition. The street will lead to the future home of the Hardwick Fire Department and to the 7.53 acres purchased by Steve and Yvette VanDerBrink for commercial and residential development.
