- May 28, 2025Annual Memorial Day services took place in Luverne, Hills, Hardwick and Beaver Creek Monday. In Luverne, members of the American Legion and VFW conducted the Memorial Day Service at Maplewood Cemetery. Guest speaker was Minnesota American Legion Second District Commander James Olson. Olson shared the loss of his fellow soldiers and their unselfish heroism that keeps American free.
