Monday, June 8, 2026

The Hills-Beaver Creek School Board met for its semi-monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. - at the Secondary School District Board Room, 301 N Summit Avenue, Hills, MN.

Board members and Administration present were Bosch, Gehrke, Harnack,

Helgeson, Rauk and Rozeboom. Superintendent Holthaus, Principal Kellenberger

and Business Manager Rozeboom were also in attendance. Board member

Uittenbogaard was absent.

Motion by Bosch, seconded by Harnack, and carried to approve the agenda.

Visitors to the meeting was Nicole Ronchetti with the Rock County Star Herald.

BOARD COMMITTEE MEETING REPORTS/UPDATES:

-Curriculum Committee 6/8

Motion by Harnack, seconded by Helgeson, and carried to approve consent agenda:

•Board Meeting Minutes from 05/26/2026

•Bills

•Construction Draw #26

•Transfer of the Class of 2026 Student Account funds in the amount of $2.33

to the School’s General Fund - Fund 01, per agreement.

•Reschedule July 27, 2026 regular board of education meeting to Monday,

August 3, 2026

•Setting items located in the Old Elementary School/Hugo Gym Site as excess

district property and direct the district business manager and superintendent

to sell or dispose of. To include the following:

-Upright Freezer

-Steam Kettle

-Dyecut machine and Dyes

-HP Design Jet Z6 Post Script Printer (wide platform)

-Fireproof File Cabinet

-Electronic adjustable desk

-Miscellaneous stadium chairs

-Storage/student locker

-Commercial Mixer

Motion by Bosch, seconded by Harnack, and carried to approve Resolution

Establishing Dates for Filing Affidavits of Candidacy.

Motion by Rauk, seconded by Bosch, to approve calling for requests for quotes of Liquid Propane for the 26-27 school year. Quotes due to the district office by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

Motion by Rozeboom, seconded by Bosch, and carried to approve District Curriculum Advisory Committee Recommendations for Math Curriculum.

Motion by Harnack, seconded by Rozeboom, and carried to approve District

Curriculum Advisory Committee Curricular Cycle for the 2026-2027 School Year.
