SUMMARY PUBLICATION ORDINANCE NO. 23
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REGULATING THE CONDUCT OF LAWFUL GAMBLING WITHIN THE CITY OF HILLS, MINNESOTA
The City of Hills does hereby ordain:
SECTION 1. ADOPTION OF STATE LAW BY REFERENCE
SECTION 2. CITY MAY BE MORE RESTRICTIVE THAN STATE LAW
SECTION 3. PURPOSE
States the purpose of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. DEFINITIONS
Definitions applicable to this section.
SECTION 5. APPLICABILITY
States the forms of lawful gambling regulated.
SECTION 6. LAWFUL GAMBLING PERMITTED
States the grounds for lawful gambling.
SECTION 7. COUNCIL APPROVAL
States lawful gambling shall not be conducted unless approved by the Council.
SECTION 8. APPLICATION AND LOCAL APPROVAL OF PREMISES PERMITS
States the grounds for approving or denying a permit under this section.
SECTION 9. REVOCATION AND SUSPENSION OF LOCAL PERMIT
States the grounds for suspending or revoking of a license under this section. Also states the procedure to follow when a license has been suspended or revoked.
SECTION 10. LICENSE AND PERMIT DISPLAY
States posting requirements.
SECTION 11. NOTIFICATION OF MATERIAL CHANGES TO APPLICATION
States the rule for notification of application changes.
SECTION 12. DESIGNATED TRADE AREA
States rules for lawful purpose expenditures.
SECTION 13. RECORDS AND REPORTING
States the reporting requirements under this section.
SECTION 14. HOURS OF OPERATION
States hour requirements.
SECTION 15. PENALTY
States the penalty for violating this section.
SECTION 16. SEVERABILITY
States the severability under this section.
SECTION 17. EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance becomes effective upon the date of this summary publication.
