Wyatt VanSteenberg celebrates 3 years at the Star Herald office on June 6. He answered a few questions about his time at the Star Herald.
1. How did your journey with the Star Herald start?
I saw a help wanted ad in the paper and applied for the job.
2. Can you make a comparison between then and now? What was your role in the beginning, and where are you at right now?
Compared to when I first started, I feel that I have become much more comfortable talking with people in our community.
3. What do you consider your biggest achievement?
I don’t know if it is my biggest achievement here, but I do really enjoy working with our advertisers and our Star Herald team to publish the "Welcome to Luverne" magazine every year.
4. What is your favorite part about working here?
My favorite part of working here is being part of such a great team—we’re always bouncing ideas off each other and building on them together.
5. Share a fun office memory.
A fun memory from my first year was during hot dog night, when Rick and I ditched our booth and became mobile hot dog vendors—walking Main Street and handing them out to the crowd.
6. Share something personal about yourself. What do you like to do outside of the office?
Outside of work, I enjoy fishing and I'm a big fan of movies and TV shows. I also spend some of my free time doing video editing.
