    The Luverne golf team finished their 2025 season Wednesday, May 28, in the Section 3AA tournament. LHS had three boys and two girls competing in the Day 2 individual tournament at the Oakdale Golf Club in Buffalo Lake.     The Redbirds fell 7-4 to the Worthington Cubs Sunday, May 25, on the road. Worthington managed to get five hits against the Redbirds, scoring five runs in the fourth and two runs in the fifth inning.     Luverne hosted the MSHSL Section 3A – South Sub-Section track and field meet Thursday, May 22, at Cardinal Field. Eight teams participated in both the boys’ and girls’ events.
