Girls’ hockey beats New Ulm 4-2

The Luverne girls’ hockey team beat their conference rivals, the New Ulm Eagles, 4-2 on the road Thursday, Jan. 23.

The Cardinal girls put 54 shots on goal and held the Eagles to 19 attempts in the game.

Junior Emma Saarloos stopped 17 of the 19 shots to take the win.
