Though Minnesota has seen no confirmed outbreak clusters of cyclospora infections, 41 states have reported cases, including larger outbreaks in Michigan and Ohio. 

The cyclospora parasite causes severe intensive gastrointestinal issues including explosive and watery diarrhea.
