Municipal waste from Rock County is hauled to Lyon County from the transfer station. In exchange, construction and demolition waste is supposed to be hauled back to Rock County.
A misunderstanding between Rock County and Lyon County led to a temporary budget shortfall for the local construction and demolition landfill.
