    The Luverne boys’ hockey team improved its record to 4-0 after beating New Ulm 6-1 Friday, Dec. 8, at the Blue Mound Ice Arena in Luverne.     The Luverne boys’ basketball team opened the 2023-24 season facing two tough teams on the road. On Friday, Dec. 1, LHS lost to Southwest Minnesota Christian 85-71 in Edgerton.     The Luverne High School wrestling team participated in the Flandreau Booster Club Invitational Saturday, Dec. 2. The LHS boys’ team took second place out of 12 teams at the event.
