Nobles County is accepting applications for a Human Resource Director.

This position leads all human resources functions and programs for Nobles County.  The scope includes supervision of the department staff, assisting all department heads with staffing and related concerns, administering insurance programs, management of job descriptions, classifications and compensation plans, benefit plans and administration, personnel policies, training, recruitment, hiring, layoffs, termination, union negotiations and investigations, mandatory reporting, new employee orientation, policy compliance and maintaining an employee database.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Labor Relations, Public Administration, or Business Administration with five years of human resource experience, with an emphasis in the public sector.
