Cardinals show success at SDSU Invite

The Luverne High School track and field team traveled to Brookings, South Dakota, for the SDSU Ruth Marske Invite Saturday, March 29. The indoor meet hosted 26 high school teams from Minnesota, South Dakota and Iowa. Luverne had 10 top-10 finishes between the track and field events. Helen Lu Rollag, formerly of Brookings, South Dakota, passed away Oct. 7, 2024, under the loving care of family and hospice in Litchfield Park, Arizona, at the age of 88. Though she will be greatly missed, her family rejoices that she is fully healed and in the arms of her Savior Jesus. She was born July 26, 1936, in Jasper, Minnesota, the youngest of three children to Leon and Jessie Haggard. …
