Turnovers play role in LHS basketball girls' team loss

The Luverne girls’ basketball team fell 79-38 to the Windom Eagles at home Friday, Feb. 7. The Cardinals found themselves down 40-21 at the half and were only able to put 17 more points on the board in the second half. Luverne had 34 turnovers and gave up 18 stolen balls in the game. A Celebration of Life Service for Cheryl Nelson, age 75, of Windom, will be held Tuesday, March 12, at 11 a.m. at LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Windom with Pastor Adam Roberts officiating.
