The Luverne VFW baseball team played four games this week with one game in progress postponed due to lightning.
The Cardinals were hosting Pipestone on Thursday at Redbird Field when lightning caused the game to be postponed in the top of the fifth inning with the score Pipestone 3, Luverne 1.
That game will be completed when Luverne plays Pipestone again later this season.
Luverne, now 4-1 on the season, is scheduled to play in Worthington tonight and in Westbrook on Monday.
