Richard "Rick" Elert Wenzel, age 72, of Garretson, South Dakota, died on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, at his home.
Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hartquist Funeral Home - Luverne Chapel.
Inurnment with military honors will be held on Friday, Jan. 23, at 1 p.m. at South Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
