Dispatch report
Sept. 30
•Complainant reported an open vehicle door in Beaver Creek. Deputy reported nothing suspicious and secured the vehicle door.
•Pipestone County requested we attempt to locate a suicidal male who may be near Luverne.
•Complainant reported a person on a bicycle, two miles west of Magnolia, possibly broken down and needing assistance.
•Complainant reported some vandalism. There is a suspect.
•Complainant reported family issues between estranged parents.
•Complainant requested the fire department be paged to the ethanol plant for something smoldering. They are needed as a precautionary measure.
•Complainant reported she has a flat tire at location. Transferred to State Patrol.
•Complainant reported a Razor scooter at location since yesterday. Complainant would like a deputy to come and pick it up. Scooter is black in color with some writing on it in blue.
•Complainant reported a possible stabbing of a young male subject in the neck at location. Complainant is hearing this third-hand.
Oct. 1
•The Beaver Creek Fire Department reported they are doing a scheduled house burn at 211 South Third Street in Beaver Creek.
•Reserved for predatory offender registration.
•Complainant reported a female he let stay with him will not get her stuff and leave. Complainant would like her removed. Subject is sitting on complainant’s steps and complainant thinks she has been drinking. Complainant doesn’t know her last name, but her first name is Carmen. Deputy advised female party left.
•Complainant reported she is out of town and her neighbor called her to tell her that some boys are jumping off her roof onto her trampoline.
•Complainant reported he lost a wheel on a grain wagon at Highway 75 and West Warren Street. It is blocking the road.
•Deputy received a report of kids climbing on train cars at South Kniss and Fletcher. No one on the trains when deputy arrived, but there were kids in the area, and they were warned to stay off the trains.
•Complainant reported a red car with no taillights and faint headlights. Car went south on County Road 17.
•Complainant reported a fight taking place outside of the Eagles. Subject is an instigator in the fight.
Oct. 2
•Complainant requested deputy for a family dispute that she advised is going to get bad.
Oct. 3
•Complainant reported a man came in to talk to her. He was in Sioux Falls over the weekend and got into an altercation. It was reported there, but now he is afraid they will come here and find him.
•Complainant reported that someone opened a window partially and cut the screen. Complainant thinks someone tried to break in.
•Deputy reported a white bike on the 500 block of North Cedar Street. White Next single speed in bike lockup.
•Complainant reported a washer and couch in the ditch on 10th Avenue ¼ mile south of 61st Street. Washer was taken to the landfill. Couch is still in ditch. Will send pictures over in the morning.
•Complainant reported some debris in roadway on County Road 9 and 101st Street possibly blew off a semi. Debris moved to ditch.
•Complainant turned in a wallet. Contacted Hillcrest and owner is staying there. They will tell him to come and pick it up.
•Complainant found phone at the City Centre Apartments. Deputy returned it to owner.
•Complainant reported that subjects went to his house and harassed his wife.
Oct. 4
•Complainant reported child neglect and drug use.
•Complainant reported a vehicle parked in field approach on County Road 13 ¼ mile west of County Road 17.
•Complainant reported he had a blowout on a truck. He can’t get it changed tonight and wants to leave the truck on County Road 3. Deputy said it needs to be moved. Son called back to report they have a tire and will be out to change it. Deputy reported the spare is low, so they will move it to a field approach.
Oct. 5
•Complainant reported that a vehicle, along with a trailer last registered in 2002, was parked in the Magnolia Campground for a long period of time and didn’t pay for staying there.
•Complainant reported a possible downed aircraft. Aircraft left Sioux Falls Joe Foss Field and lost radio and radar contact near the Minnesota border. Complainant phoned back and reported that the plane had been found and had safely landed at a grass strip near Valley Springs.
•Complainant dropped off phone he had found on his postal route. Phone description: Samsung gold in color with a black and silver case.
•Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle at West Dodge and Cedar Street. Says there are two men in it. Car is a beige four-door sedan from early 1990s.
•Complainant reported that his ex, who has a restraining order against him, came to his home today and took some plants that belonged to her.
Oct. 6
•Complainant reported that the City Hall garage is across the street and the door is open and lights are going on and off. Would like a deputy to check it out. Deputy reported that it is a faulty door opener and to contact someone to look at it.
•Complainant reported that her boyfriend was at her apartment and she wants him gone. She told him not to come over because she and the kids were sleeping, but he came anyway. He is holding the keys to her vehicle and won’t give them to her.
•Complainant reported a full size dark colored van pulled off on the side of the road at location, and the man waved at him like he wanted him to stop, but complainant was in a work vehicle and couldn’t. He did not get a license plate. Deputy drove both ways on that road and was unable to locate anyone.
•Complainant requested a deputy to location to check on a stalled vehicle on I-90 between mile markers 6 and 7. Deputy was unable to locate any vehicle between Beaver Creek and Luverne.
•Complainant reported subject, against whom she has a protection order, is putting pictures of her on Facebook.
•Complainant reported some debris in the passing lane on I-90 before bridge by Beaver Creek. Deputy removed debris from location.

•Complainant reported that he and his wife are separated and his kids are with her at a house he feels is not a fit environment. Complainant wished to speak to a deputy about his options.
In addition, officers responded to 1 motor vehicle accident, 1 transport, 1 funeral escort, 5 traffic stops, 18 ambulance runs, 1 parking violation, 2 paper services, 6 animal complaints, 6 false alarms, 2 driver’s license checks, 6 fingerprint requests, 7 log/alarm sheets, 2 drug court tests, and issued 4 purchase/carry permits and 5 burn permits.
