Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes 116.07, subd. 7(a), that
Jason Spykerboer has made application to the County of Rock, for a permit to modify a feedlot with a capacity of 500 animal units or more.
The proposed feedlot will be located in the NE 1/4 of section 20 in Kanaranzi Township, Rock County, Minnesota.
The existing facility consists of open lots without runoff controls to house 125 head of feeder cattle and 400 head of finishing cattle. The proposed modification will be adding 200 head of finishing cattle on open lots with runoff controls. Manure storage from open lots will be pack on lot. The site will house 600 head of finishing cattle and 125 feeder cattle on open lots with runoff controls equaling 687.5 animal units.
This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
