NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO TRANSFER ROCK COUNTY HIGHWAY
DEPARTMENT MUNICIPAL CONSTRUCTION FUNDS TO THE REGULAR
CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA
STATUTE 162.08, SUBD. 4(B)
Notice is hereby given that the Rock County Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on November 5, 2024, at 9:00 A.M. in the Training Room at the Rock County Law Enforcement Center at 1000 N. Blue Mound Ave, Luverne, Minnesota, to allow public comment regarding the transfer $812,978.00 of Municipal Construction funds to its Regular Construction Account with the Minnesota Department of Transportation. As per Minnesota Statute 162.08, Subd 4 (b), a county may expend accumulated Municipal Account funds on County State Aid Highways within the County outside the cities having a population of 5,000 or less. Copies of Resolution No. 13-24 and Minnesota Statute 162.08, Subd 4 (b) are on file and may be inspected at the Rock County Highway Department during normal business hours.
All persons desiring to be heard should appear at the hearing or present written comments to be presented at the hearing by delivering the same to the Rock County Administrator at 204 E. Brown Street; Luverne, Minnesota by 5:00 P.M. November 4, 2024.
