Monday, July 13, 2026
The Hills-Beaver Creek School Board met for its semi-monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. - at the Secondary School District Board Room, 301 N Summit Avenue, Hills, MN.
Board members and Administration present were Bosch, Gehrke, Harnack,
Helgeson and Rauk. Superintendent Holthaus and Business Manager Rozeboom
were also in attendance. Principal Kellenberger and Board members Rozeboom and
Uittenbogaard were absent.
Member Harnack was appointed as Acting Treasurer.
Motion by Helgeson, seconded by Harnack, and carried to approve the agenda.
Proposed Additions to Agenda: 8.4. and 8.5.
Visitor to the meeting was Lori Sorenson with the Rock County Star Herald.

Motion by Harnack, seconded by Bosch, and carried to approve Resolution for Fiscal year 2028 District Long Term Facility Maintenance Revenues and Expenditures Plan.
Motion by Rauk, seconded by Bosch, and carried to approve Resolution declaring Supt. Todd Holthaus as the identified official with authority for the MN Department of Education and Identity and Access Management System for the 2026-2027 School Year.
Motion by Harnack, seconded by Helgeson, and carried to approve Donation
Resolution:
•$100.00 from the Happy Hookers & Naughty Knitters Club for books for
Patriot Pals Childcare Center in Memory of Marilyn Jellema
•$20.00 from Blackbaud Giving Fund to Elementary Student Council
•$20.00 from Blackbaud Giving Fund to Secondary Student Council
Motion by Helgeson, seconded by Harnack, and carried to approve awarding Liquid Propane Provider for the 2026-2027 School Year for Elementary School.
Motion by Bosch, seconded by Rauk, and carried to approve awarding Liquid Propane Provider for the 2026-2027 School Year for Secondary School and Hugo
Gymnasium.
