Monday, Dec. 22, 2025

The Hills-Beaver Creek School Board met for its semi-monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Secondary School District Board Room, 301 N Summit Avenue, Hills, MN.

Board members and Administration present were Bosch, Gehrke, Harnack,

Helgeson, Rozeboom and Uittenbogaard. Superintendent Holthaus and Business

Manager Rozeboom were also in attendance. Principal Kellenberger and Board

Member Rauk were absent.

Member Harnack was appointed as Acting Clerk.

Motion by Uittenbogaard, seconded by Helgeson, and carried to approve the agenda.

Visitors to the meeting were Matt Taubert of Meulebroeck, Taubert & Co, PLLP and Mavis Fodness with the Rock County Star Herald.

AUDITOR REPORT FOR DISTRICT FINANCIALS FISCAL YEAR 2025 (MEULEBROECK, TAUBERT & CO., PLLP)

•Accepting the resignation of Starla Scholten as Secondary Administrative

Assistant effective at the end of the day December 31, 2025.

Motion by Rozeboom, seconded by Bosch, and carried to approve accepting the findings of the District’s Fiscal Year 2025 Financial Audit as presented by

Meulebroeck, Taubert and CO., PLLP Motion by Harnack, seconded by Bosch, and carried to approve Donation Resolution:

•$300.00 from Anonymous for the Secondary Student Council

•$200.00 from Alliance Communications for H-BC Students in need of

administrative discretion

•$100.00 from Ray Vander Wolde to the Secondary Care Closet

•$40.00 from Blackbaud Giving Fund to Elementary Student Council

•$40.00 from Blackbaud Giving Fund to Secondary Student Council
