The Hills-Beaver Creek School Board met for its semi-monthly meeting at 8:00 p.m. at the Secondary School District Board Room, 301 N Summit Avenue, Hills, MN.

NOTE: LATER START TIME.

Board members and Administration present were Gehrke, Harnack, Helgeson,

Rauk, Rozeboom and Uittenbogaard. Superintendent Holthaus, Principal Kellen-berger and Business Manager Rozeboom were also in attendance. Board member

Bosch was absent.

Motion by Helgeson, second by Rozeboom, and carried to approve the agenda.

Visitor to the meeting was Mavis Fodness.

Motion by Helgeson, second by Harnack, and carried to approve consent agenda:

for the 2025-2026 service year

•Rescheduling the 2nd June Regular Meeting of the Board to Wednesday,

June 25

•Reducing North Beaver Creek Van Route beginning with the 2025-2026

School Year

•Reducing Van Driving assignment for Shari Doerr Beginning with the 2025-

2026 School Year

•Hiring Justine Sandbulte as School Social Worker beginning the 2025-2026

school year

Motion by Rozeboom, second by Uittenbogaard, and carried to approve second reading of the Patriot Pals Child Care Center Staff Handbook for the 2025-2026

Service Year.

Motion by Harnack, second by Rauk, and carried to Authorize setting the

Hills-Beaver Creek ISD #671 May 28, 2025 bond sale amount up to $11,475,000

(Bond Breakdown — remaining amount from 2023A- $8,475,000, Tax Abatement-

$2,100,000 and Facilities Maintenance- Health & Safety $900,000).

Motion by Rozeboom, second by Uittenbogaard, and carried to approve Resolution to begin the process of closing the current Hills-Beaver Creek Elementary School located at 404 S. 4th St., Beaver Creek, MN 56116.
