Iowa Lakes releases honors list
Katie Reisdorfer, Adrian, has been named to the president’s list with a 4.0 GPA, and Alexander Kramer, Magnolia, has been named to the dean’s list at Iowa Lakes Community College for the Spring 2019 semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a 3.25 GPA or higher based on a 4.0 scale.
Ver Steeg named to President’s List at Bemidji
Cade Ver Steeg, Luverne, earned President’s List honors at Bemidji State University in Bemidji for the Spring 2019 semester. Students named to the President’s List must earn a 4.0 GPA.
Area students honored at MSU Mankato
Several area students were named to the dean’s list following the Spring 2019 semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Named to the High Honors list with a 4.0 GPA were Jake Aukes, Kaitlyn Roberts, and Sierra Wieneke, all of Luverne.
Named to the Honors list with a GPA of 3.5 to 3.99 were Griffin Ahrendt, Brianna Jonason, and Janae Kopp, all of Luverne, and Alyssa Thier and Colin Varley, Adrian.
U of M releases spring dean’s list
Several area students were named to the dean’s list at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. To qualify, students must complete 12 or more graded credits and earn at least a 3.66 GPA.
Named from Luverne were Hans Bakken, a sophomore in the College of Science and Engineering; Sierra Schmuck, a sophomore in the College of Liberal Arts; and Carly Serie, a junior in the School of Nursing.
Adrian students named to the dean’s list include Jada Elias, a senior in the School of Nursing; Dylan Gyberg, a junior in the College of Liberal Arts; and Mikayla Jeffers, a junior in the College of Education and Human Development.
SMSU announces graduates
Several area students earned degrees from Southwest Minnesota State University following the Spring 2019 semester. Students with an asterisk were also included on the dean’s list for the spring semester with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Adrian: Olivia Jo Weidert,* Bachelor of Science in elementary education.
Ellsworth: Brenna Kramer,* Bachelor of Arts in biology.
Hills: Kelli Esselink,* Bachelor of Science in elementary education.
Luverne: Alizabeth Prekker,* Bachelor of Arts in art; Hanna Walters, Master of Education in education; Jennifer Gaul, Master of Science in education.
