Boltjes selected for honor society
Haley Boltjes was inducted into the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Beta Beta Beta Oct. 20 at St. Mary’s University in Winona.
Tori-Beta is a National Honor Society for biology majors in which honorees must maintain a 3.0 GPA overall and in their major. It is a society for students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of expanding knowledge through scientific research.
Haley is a senior at St. Mary’s and will graduate with a BA in environmental biology in May 2016.  She graduated from Luverne High School in 2012.
Haley is the daughter of David and Sharon Boltjes, Adrian.
 
Luverne students to graduate from MSU
Brittany Smeins and Morgan Sommers, both from Luverne, will receive Bachelor of Science degrees from Minnesota State University, Mankato, during commencement exercises Dec. 12.
Smeins will receive her degree in nursing, and Sommers will graduate cum laude with a psychology degree.
