University of Sioux Falls
Joel Buys, history, Eli Dooyema, sports management, and Katlyn Sawtelle, elementary education, all of Luverne, were named to the University of Sioux Falls dean’s list for the Spring 2015 semester.
To qualify for the dean’s list students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
 
University of Minnesota Duluth
Several area students were recently named to the University of Minnesota Duluth dean’s list for the Spring 2015 semester.
They are Sean Rollag, Beaver Creek, a junior majoring in chemical engineering; and from Luverne, Ellen Dahl, a sophomore majoring in pre business, and Kaitlin Wohnoutka a junior majoring in biology.
Students on the dean’s list have achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
 
Bemidji State University
Brandon Bosch, Luverne, was named to the Bemidji State University dean’s list for the Spring 2015 semester.
Bosch, an environmental management major, is the son of Larry and Nicie Bosch of Luverne. He also plans to intern at Great Plains Processing, Luverne, this summer.
 
Buena Vista University
Katie Shearer, Luverne, recently graduated from Buena Vista University, Sheldon, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in athletic training and exercise science.
 
Southeast Technical Institute
Four area students were recently named to Southeast Technical Institute, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, president’s list for the 2015 Spring semester.
They are Jeff Sandbulte, Steen, and Samantha Zomer, Valley Springs, South Dakota, both accounting majors; and Hailey Hamann, diagnostic medical sonography, and Ashlie Hess, vascular ultrasound technology, both of Luverne.
In order to qualify for the president’s list, students must be enrolled full time and earn a 3.5 GPA or higher.
 
Minnesota State University
Bryan Stanley, Luverne, was recently awarded a $500 Upper Class Scholarship from the Minnesota State University Moorhead.
The scholarship is available to students who have completed 12 semester credits and earn a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
 
Concordia College
Kira Graber, a freshman at Concordia College, Moorhead, was named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2015 semester.
She is the daughter of Keith and Seana Graber of Luverne.
Students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours and earn a 3.7 GPA or higher to qualify for the dean’s list.
