Anderson named to dean’s list at ASU
Jaydn Anderson, Luverne, has been named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2020 semester at Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University in Tempe.
To be eligible, students must earn a 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale with at least 12 graded credits.
Gustavus Adolphus releases dean’s list
Anika Gust, Toby Sengvongxay, and Kristen Ziegler, all of Luverne, were named to the Spring 2020 semester dean’s list at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter. To be eligible, students must earn at least a 3.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
U of M Duluth names honor students
The University of Minnesota Duluth has named its dean’s list for the Spring 2020 semester. Students must earn at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale to qualify.

Luverne: Megan Rogers, junior, School of Fine Arts, Pre Art EducationK-12; Brandon Winter, senior, UMD-Swenson College of Science andEngineering, civil engineering BSCE.
Concordia releases dean’s list
Madison Crabtree, Luverne, was named to the Spring 2020 dean’s list at Concordia College, Moorhead. To be eligible, students must earn at least a 3.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale with 12 graded credits.
Madison, a junior, is the daughter of Josh and Emily Crabtree of Luverne.
MSU Mankato names honor students
Several area students were named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2020 semester at Minnesota State University Mankato. Students with a 4.0 GPA are named to the High Honors List, and students with a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA are named to the Honors List.
Kaitlyn Roberts, Matthew Schmuck and Emilie Staeffler, all from Luverne, were named to the High Honors List.
Jesse Kontz, Janae Kopp and Sierra Wieneke, all from Luverne, and Colin Varley and Nathan Varley, Adrian, were named to the Honors List.
Augustana names honor students
Emily Dilly and Hope Van Meeteren, both of Luverne, were named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2020 semester at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. To be eligible, students must complete at least 12 graded credits with a 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Siebenahler to graduate from St. John’s University
Quinton Siebenahler, Luverne, is a candidate to graduate from Saint John’s University in Collegeville with a Bachelor of Arts degree in global business leadership.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, SJU is looking at a Spring 2021 date for the commencement ceremony.
Quinton is the son of John and Awanda Siebenahler.
McGaffee graduates from SMSU Marshall
Samantha McGaffee, Hills, graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall, following the Spring 2020 semester with a Master of Science in education.
Wysong named to president’s list at WCSU
Avery Wysong, Beaver Creek, qualified for the president’s list with a 4.0 GPA for the Spring 2020 semester at Valley City State University in Valley City, North Dakota.
Hansen makes dean’s list at St. Cloud State U
Molly Hansen, Magnolia, was named to the Spring 2020 dean’s list at St. Cloud State University. To be eligible, students must earn at least a 3.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Hansen is working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in health and human services with emphasis on athletic training.
