Students named to USF dean’s list
The University of Sioux Falls has released the Fall 2019 dean’s list. The following area students qualified with a 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0:
Grace Bundesen, Hills, is majoring in professional accounting and business administration.
Angela Martinyuk of Beaver Creek is majoring in pre-nursing.
Kourtney Rozeboom of Hills is majoring in art education.
 
Dakota Wesleyan announces dean’s list
Dakota Wesleyan University, Mitchell, South Dakota, recently released the Fall 2019 dean’s list. Named to othe list were Miah Kunkel of Adrian and Ashley Bostic of Hardwick.
To qualify, students must earn at least a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and complete at least 12 hours of academic work.
 
Dakota Wesleyan honors nursing graduates
The Dakota Wesleyan University Arlene Gates Department of Nursing celebrated the completion of the LPN-Bachelor of Science in nursing class of 2019 with a special pinning ceremony in Sioux Falls Friday, Dec. 13.
Area members of the 2019 class include Jenni Manigold of Adrian and Krista Stenger of Luverne.
The LPN-B.S. in nursing is a 28-month program through DWU.
 
MSU Mankato awards degrees
Minnesota State University Mankato awarded degrees to several area students on Saturday, Dec. 14, following the Fall 2019 semester.
Those receiving degrees and their area of specialty are as follows:
Brianna Jonason, summa cum laude, Bachelor of Science degrees in alcohol and drug studies and in social work.
Mitchell Muller, Bachelor of Science in finance.
Thomas Vajgrt, Bachelor of Science in health and physical education.
Kaitlyn Van Meeteren, Bachelor of Science, RN baccalaureate completion.
Cole Walgrave, Bachelor of Science, recreation, parks and leisure services.
