A funeral service is Wednesday, June 19, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Luverne. A private committal service will be at a later date.
Rebecca Lynn Hollander was born Aug. 18, 1973, in Luverne, to Dennis and Cheryl (Franken) Hollander. She graduated from Luverne High School in 1992.
Becky married Nathan Crane on Sept. 29, 2007, in Luverne. They lived in Humboldt, South Dakota, before moving to Hartford. Becky worked at Sprouting Ivy Academy in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She enjoyed camping, throwing darts, working on her computer, and her cat, Star.
Becky is survived by her husband, Nathan Crane, Hartford; four children, Zachory (Megan) Hollander, Willow Lake, South Dakota, Riley (special friend, Hannah) Hollander, Humboldt, Damen Crane, Hartford, and Hannah Vaudrin, Hartford; two grandchildren, Oakley and Jaxten Hollander; her parents, Dennis Hollander, Hartford, and Cheryl Edstrom, Luverne; four siblings, Amy (Travis) Dammann, Luverne, Chris (Casey) Edstrom, Castroville, Texas, Eric (Monica) Edstrom, Luverne, and Amanda (Cory) Maeyaert, Tracy; nine nieces and nephews; her in-laws Doug and Peggy Crane, Crooks, South Dakota; and a brother-in-law, Patrick "PJ" Crane, Pierre, South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joey Hollander; her stepfather, Gene Edstrom; and her grandparents, Howard and Wilma Franken and Pete and Amanda Hollander.
Becky’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
