Phyllis Faye Siebenahler, 81, Luverne, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne.
A funeral service was Tuesday, Oct. 6, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Luverne with burial at St. Catherine Cemetery in Luverne.
Phyllis Coffey was born Sept. 28, 1934, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Glenn and Juanita Coffey. She graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls.
   On Dec. 26, 1954, Phyllis married Leon Siebenahler in Sioux Falls. After their marriage, the couple lived in Virginia where Leon was stationed in the military. After Leon was discharged, the couple moved to rural Luverne in 1955 and began farming.
   Phyllis was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Luverne, the WCCW, the Luverne Eagles Auxiliary and was a 4-H leader. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, flowers, reading, wintering in Arizona and spending time with her family.
   Phyllis is survived by her husband, Leon Siebenahler, Luverne; four children, Deb (Brad) Van Lant, Lake of the Ozarks, Montana; Dave (Terri) Siebenahler and Darcy (Mike) Raddle, all of Luverne; and Darwin (Kelli) Siebenahler, Des Moines, Iowa; ten grandchildren, Jackie (Marc Fritzsche) Van Lant, Tyler (Bethany) Van Lant, Justin (Callon) Siebenahler, Jeremy Siebenahler, Jordan (fiancée, Jennifer) Siebenahler, Michelle (Justin) DeKam, Kayla (Jeremy) Brinkhous, Cody Raddle, Kendra Siebenahler and Cole Siebenahler; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Glenna Wilson, Sioux Falls,  and a sister-in-law, Betty Coffey, Sioux Falls.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Don Coffey; and a brother-in-law, Robert Wilson.  
   In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Minnesota Veterans Home, 1300 N. Kniss Ave., Luverne, MN  56156.
