Nancy Ann Haraldson, age 67, of Pipestone, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at her home in Pipestone.
A visitation will be on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pipestone. A funeral service will be on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the New Woodlawn Cemetery in Pipestone.

Nancy Ann Haraldson was born on March 23, 1955, to Richard and Janice (Bucher) Stimson in Pipestone, Minnesota. She was baptized on May 15, 1955, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pipestone and confirmed on March 22, 1970, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Pipestone. During her childhood she participated in FHA 1&2, Future Teachers of America 3, Chorus 9, and student council 4-alternate. She was the captain of the Arrowettes and a member of the National Honor Society – 4. Nancy graduated in 1973 from Pipestone Central High School. Following graduation she attended Pipestone Vo-Tech where she studied being a financial secretary.
Nancy was united in marriage to Larry Haraldson on August 10, 1974 in Pipestone. Together they made their home in Pipestone and were blessed with three children, Stacy, Jeremy, and Nick. Nancy worked as a secretary at Bucher Realty from 1974-1975, had a home day care from 1976-1980, was a teller at Pipestone Federal from 1981-1985, and a loan processor at First National Bank from 1985 until the time of her retirement in 2015.
Nancy was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Pipestone where she was the Sunday school superintendent and was later a member at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Nancy participated in Relay for Life, the Pipestone Women of Today, and the hospice supper. She enjoyed crafting, painting, and being around children of all ages. Nancy especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
She will be remembered for her kindness, willingness to help everybody, being devoted to her family, her wisdom, her words of encouragement, her love for children, and patience with everybody. She will be deeply missed.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Larry; children Stacy (Ryan) DeBates of Luverne, Minnesota, Jeremy (Jenica) Haraldson of Harrisburg, South Dakota, and Nick (Brandi) Haraldson of Harrisburg; grandchildren Brody, Jenna, and Trevor DeBates, Jaylyn, Jax, and Jep Haraldson, and Elsie and Vera Haraldson; sister Betty Schoolmeester; mother-in-law Luella Haraldson; uncle William Carstensen; and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Stimson; mother, Janice Frey; stepfather James Frey; brothers Rick Stimson and David Stimson; aunt Sandy Carstensen; grandfather Arley Bucher; grandmother Vi Bucher; father-in-law Clarence Haraldson; and brother-in-law Don Schoolmeester.
