Logan David Nelson, 22, Adrian, died Saturday, June 13, 2020, as the result of a boating accident on Lake Shetek near Slayton.
       Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at St. Adrian Church in Adrian, and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 19, at St. Adrian Church in Adrian. Burial will follow in the Adrian Cemetery.
       Logan David Nelson was born Oct. 29, 1997, to Gregg and Denise (Marr) Nelson in Luverne. He graduated from Adrian High School in 2016. Logan enjoyed sports. He participated in football and wrestling and qualified for the Minnesota State Wrestling Tournament his senior year. He was just finishing his bachelor’s degree in agricultural science at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota.
       Logan enjoyed farm work. He worked at Bullerman Farms during high school, 3B Farms during college and currently with Thier Construction in Adrian. He loved to hunt. Deer and turkey were his favorite, whether with gun or bow. He also hunted antelope, pheasants, and prairie dogs. He recently developed into quite a shed antler hunter. He also loved his fiancee Krista and their two pups, Harley and Hazel.
Logan is survived by his parents, Gregg and Denise Nelson, Adrian; his fiancée, Krista Motzko, Adrian; his sister, McKinley Nelson, Adrian; his brother, Preston Nelson, Adrian; grandparents David and Zetty Claire Nelson, Owatonna; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
