Cynthia Louise Benjamin, née Getman, passed away peacefully on Sept. 23, 2026.
She was born on April 15, 1946, in Luverne, Minn., to Gerald and Clara Getman. Cindy devoted her life to serving God, her family, her church, and her community. She found great joy in caring for others.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Don Benjamin; her son, Nathan Benjamin, and his wife, Kim; her daughter, Rachel Swatkoski, and her husband, Steve; and her daughter, Amanda Rosier, and her husband, Scott. She is also cherished by her beloved grandchildren: Addy, and her husband, Aidan; Benjamin; William; and Macey. Additionally, she is survived by her brothers: Tom Getman, Jim Getman, Chuck Getman, and Bill Getman. Cindy was joyfully reunited in heaven with her beloved parents and precious son, Joseph.
A celebration of her life will be at noon Saturday, Oct. 10 at High Tide Church in Dagsboro, Del.

Visitation with family will begin at 11 a.m. Reception and lunch will follow at Selbyville Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to High Tide Church.
