Brant W. Israelson, 52, Hesperia, California, died April 16, 2016, in Hesperia.
A memorial service was Saturday, April 23, at Burning Bush Church in Victorville, California.
Brant was born July 15, 1963, to Raney and Janet Israelson in Shenandoah, Iowa. The family moved to Hickman, Nebraska, when he was 2 years old. When he was 15, the family moved to Luverne. He graduated from Luverne High School in 1981 and attended college in Willmar. In 1985 he moved to Yermo, California, where he started in the water well drilling and pump industry. In 2004 he started working for Layne Christensen as an account manager. During his career he developed a special relationship with his clients and co-workers.
Brant was a larger-than-life man who was charismatic, honest, funny, yet witty and sarcastic. He had a passion for golf, the Nebraska Cornhuskers and singing country music. Brant took pride in everything he did. He loved his family and friends.
Brant is survived by his grandmother, Madge May; his parents, Janet and Raney Israelson; his wife, Valerie; sons Tyler (Renee and grandchildren Austin and Connor), Tanner, Angel and Dominic; a daughter, Miraya; a sister, Staci (Monte) Zwaan; nieces Mackenzi and Chazni, and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather and a nephew, Zachary Zwaan.
