Beverly Fleseland

Lead Summary

Beverly Mae Fleseland was born to Lester and Edna (Vogt) Wieck on October 31, 1933, in Luverne, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at the Magnolia Methodist Church and attended public school in Magnolia. Growing up, she enjoyed singing in the choir at the Magnolia Methodist Church. She graduated from Magnolia High School in 1951.
Soon after graduation, Beverly married the love of her life, Art Fleseland, on August 15, 1952, at Zion Lutheran Church in Luverne. Their marriage lasted 70 years, and where you saw one, the other was always close by.
In the early years of their marriage, Beverly worked as a bookkeeper/accountant in the Twin Cities and Luverne. They later started a grain bin business, Rock County Harvestall in Magnolia. She later helped Art on the farm with whatever needed doing, from bookkeeping to driving the tractor to building grain bins and taking care of the milking. The couple raised three wonderful girls together on the farm.
In early 2022, health issues caused Beverly to move into the Mary Jane Brown Nursing home for one year and then to the Hospice Cottage where, on May 24, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, Beverly went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 89 years, 6 months, and 23 days.
Left to cherish Beverly’s memory are her husband, Art Fleseland of Luverne; children, Linda Kramer of Luverne, Nancy (Kent) Davis of Magnolia, and Deb (Lyle) Stroeh of Magnolia; grandchildren, Chad (TyAnn) Kramer, Scott Kramer and Jen Wiebe, Shane (Kelsey) Kramer, Eric Wentzel, David (Nicole) Wentzel, Austin Stroeh, Cory Stroeh and Freddrikke Stroeh; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Evelyn Bruhn of Adrian, Minnesota, Marilyn Sudenga of Windom, Minnesota, and Verlyn (Alma) Wieck of Omaha, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Loretta Lynn; sister, Generose Bush; and parents, Lester and Edna Wieck.
