A group of local volunteers is organizing a co-ed volleyball tournament on March 8 to support a scholarship fund at Discovery Time Preschool.
The school has a fund to help families who can’t afford the full tuition for Discovery Time Preschool. However, it’s not always enough to cover all families who apply.
When the local Women’s Giving Circle learned of the Discovery Time need, member donors arranged for a grant to provide tuition for more families.
Now they’re planning the March 8 co-ed volleyball tournament to shore up the scholarship fund.
The tournament start time is 8 a.m. Saturday, March 8, in the Luverne High School gym. Team registrations are due March 1. The fee is $200 per team, with all proceeds going to the Discovery Time Preschool Scholarship Fund.
