'toe trippers' being repaired

Concrete Creations, Luverne, has been repairing sidewalks on Main Street following work on sunken electrical vaults near light poles. The city repaired 16 of these “toe trippers” — sidewalk depressions — as part of ongoing monitoring of sidewalk safety. According to Public Works supervisor John Stoffel, anything with a lip of three-quarters of an inch or more is typically repaired.
