Franchisee Jeremy Jalas purchased the 85-by-287-square-foot lot in 2017 from Elbers, between the real estate office and Howling Dog. Construction started in earnest this summer on the new building, which will have drive-through service. Luverne Subway is one of nine franchises Jalas operates in Minnesota and Iowa.
