, , ,

In a festive flare, the Luverne High School student council set up tables and decorations under the canopy of the middle-high school Monday night. For two hours the high school student leaders greeted donors and collected and sorted items for the Rock County Food Shelf. The group later sorted the dozen boxes of collected personal hygiene and non-food items for easier distribution to individuals and families. The group also received over $1,100 for the food shelf. Students enjoyed the in-person group activity. The school is in a distance-learning model, where students complete classes online. Distance learning will continue until Jan. 4.
