Sioux Falls authorities are investigating a weekend shooting that reportedly involved a 28-year-old woman from Luverne.

The woman is hospitalized in stable condition after being treated for a gunshot wound in the back of her head.

The victim’s name and that of her 48-year-old male passenger had not been released as of Tuesday morning.
